The paper referred to in the online story is "Infectious Diseases Modelling Research Progress". Now, hang on, surely Max Brook's book World War Z was enough "research" on this subject?
It sounds like Professors getting paid for being zombie geeks, something that really should provide me with a living (or unliving?) too.
